Dutch Dairy Association

The Dutch Dairy Association will this year use her Social Media channels to celebrate World Milk Day and to share this among her followers. There will also be an article on the website www.nzo.nl. We will use the Social Media accounts to share the importance of milk (and other dairy products) as a global food and to point out the benefits of milk (and other dairy products) for health. We will also inform our followers about the importance of the Dutch dairy industry for the Dutch economy. We will create awareness that Dairy is a strong economic sector in the Netherlands. That Dairy farming and the dairy industry mean tens of thousands of jobs and billions in revenue. We have asked all the Dutch dairyfans (on Facebook) to share a picture or video of themselves on which they show that they enjoy a dairy product. We will collect all the input and make a video compilation of all the pictures and video's that we have received and share this on our Social Media channels on World Milk Day (1 June). The Dutch Dairy Association will also take part of the worldwide #EnjoyDairy rally from 29-31 May to celebrate the contributions of the dairy sector to nutrition, animal care, sustainability, and livelihoods. Each day we will post a message on our Social Media channels.
