Join us in celebrating #WorldMilkDay June 1, 2023!
In 2001, World Milk Day was established by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations to recognize the importance of milk as a global food, and to celebrate the dairy sector. Each year since, the benefits of milk and dairy products have been actively promoted around the world, including how dairy supports the livelihoods of one billion people.
In 2022, the celebration started with the Enjoy Dairy Rally May 29 – May 31, culminating with World Milk Day on Wednesday, June 1. This year’s theme highlighted the work already being done to accelerate climate action and help reduce the dairy sector’s impact on the planet. Using the World Milk Day platform, we aimed to raise awareness of the messaging and action toward Dairy Net Zero.
We encourage short videos from farmers that showcase sustainability practices in place on your farm or at your company. You can help by developing these short videos, and sharing them on social media as we re-introduce dairy farmers to the world. Videos can be sent directly to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or via WeTransfer.
